Field Trip: Observe Canine Training @ Lackland AFB

Jack Diamond has been working on coordinating a visit to the Canine Training Center @ Lackland AFB in San Antonio (FIELD TRIP!). In order to help coordinate the visit, there are some questions that need to be answered, one of which being: how many members would be interested in visiting the AWESOME Canine Training Center in San Antonio?

The visit would more than likely be in September or October during the week (Tuesday, Wednesday or Thursday); Jack is checking on the possibility of securing a bus/transportation as it would be much easier to get on base rather than everyone driving themselves. The trip would be during the day; possibly leaving SM at 10 am and returning later that afternoon.

The biggest question right now that we need to know is: who would want to/be able to go on this excursion? I know the date/time isn’t set yet, but we need input so we can get this thing scheduled as it would be a great off-site group event!

If you have any specific questions, please contact Jack as he has been communicating/coordinating with the Instructor @ Lackland.

We had the opportunity to see one of the canines @ the Conference we attended and it was phenomenal! I can only imagine what the Training Center would be able to showcase! Who doesn’t like to watch canines show off their amazing skills?

Please WEIGH in ASAP as we need a number of those interested – also, please share any comments/suggestions.

Thank you!
