Webinar: What is Fire Corps?
March 15, 2013
11.00am – 12.00pm

Background:
Fire Corps is one of five partner programs under Citizen Corps, the Federal Emergency Management Agency’s grassroots strategy to bring together government and community leaders to involve citizens in all-hazards emergency preparedness and resilience. Citizen Corps partner programs share the common goal of helping communities prevent, prepare for, and respond to emergencies of all kinds.

Fire Corps is a locally-driven Citizen Corps program that enables community members to offer their time and talents to their local fire/EMS department in a non-emergency capacity.

Time: Each session is designed to run 45 minutes and includes a Q&A.

Presenter: Monica Colby

Summary: Participants will come away with an understanding of the Fire Corps program and how it can help their community. Fire Corps has a number of initiatives and trainings that can help benefit your local neighborhood watch program.

Information on how to access each event will be sent the day before each session.
