The Wimberley Cheeseburger Plate Fundraiser is scheduled for Friday, April 21st at St. Mary Catholic Church. Not only is this a great central location for deliveries and walk up orders, but the kitchen facilty is wonderful and the dining area will seat 86 people. Last year we delivered 267 cheeseburger plates to 27 different businesses which required 9 drivers, due to our location on the very north side of Wimberley. At this time I do not know how many delivery orders we will have, but I feel sure we are going to need 6-8 drivers.
Last night at our monthly meeting, I asked those present if anyone could work the event either as an order packer or driver. I had 3 people who signed up to work as preparers/order packers, but we are going to need at least 3 more in this position. Ruth and I can certainly be drivers so now we need at least 4 to 6 more drivers. Totally I need 12 to 15 people in order to make this event successful.
Your volunteer services will be needed from 9:00am to 2:00pm on Friday, April 21st. If you can work the event either as a preparer/order packer or driver, please email: marketing@hccsaaa.org
Thank you for your support.
